The NIH Training Center convened a special NIH Senior Leadership Program (SLP) alumni event this past November, with nearly 80 alumni from across NIH. This gathering brought together a diverse group of SLP graduates from cohorts as early as 2003 and as recent as 2023, providing the opportunity for some graduates to meet in person for the very first time.

The event was centered around networking and was highly rated by attendees for value of the subject matter and activities in strengthening leadership skills and knowledge, according to attendee feedback. Additional feedback highlighted the connections made during the networking events:

“This momentum should be sustained.” 

“These touchpoints are very helpful to continue our learning and growth.” 

Participants left inspired and eager for future events, solidifying the program’s legacy as a vital resource for our NIH leaders. We look forward to hosting future alumni events!
