The Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), under the Department of Labor (DOL), is responsible for payment of benefits to civilian employees of the United States for disability due to personal injury or disease sustained while in the performance of duty. The Compensation Specialist in the Benefits and Payroll Liaison Branch (OHR/BPLB) will administer the program for NIH.
