Another Successful Management Seminar Series
The NIHTC recently completed the 2024 Management Seminar Series (MSS). Over 250 participants from 21 ICs participated in FY24. The MSS schedule included six two-hour monthly seminars created and facilitated by MSS Coordinators and Advisors who are former MSS participants, NIH Management Interns, and Presidential Management Fellows. Seminar topics included Time Management and Prioritization; Giving, Receiving, and Using Feedback; Breaking Out of Your Comfort Zone; How to Create and Lead Groups to Enhance the DEI Mission; Developing Your Personal Brand; and Leading in a Remote Workplace.
Shift workers participated in MSS this year and we continue to expand the inclusiveness of this program into FY25.
FY25 MSS Slots
The MSS is a foundational building block for career development and cross-IC networking at NIH for GS 7-13 non-supervisory employees. If you or a member of your team are looking for a program to expand your engagement with other NIH professionals, check out this program. Your IC Executive Officer (EO) will receive the call for nominations in mid-October.
