This 2-day interactive presentation develops the capacity of participants to better understand racism in its institutional and structural forms.

  • Participants consider that racism is fundamentally structural in nature.
  • Participants conclude that it is our failure to connect dots - not lack of data - that has led to society’s misdiagnosis of the problem at hand.
  • Participants receive guidelines that can be touchstones for this training and can be used over time when facing challenges of leading counter-cultural, transformational change.

Audience

This class is recommended for all NIH employees.

Class Registration Process

When you register for a class, you will be automatically placed on a waiting list. A message "No Seats Available" will appear. Select YES, Continue Registration. Once the course is approved by your manager and final approver, you will successfully be registered if a seat is available.
