The AD will also establish effective partnerships with academia, industry, and other Federal agencies to ensure that innovative imaging technology is developed and successfully transferred, enhanced, and commercialized by supporting grants, contracts, and other mechanisms. In addition, the AD serves as a representative for the NCI on many levels including national and international scientific oncology meetings (The World Molecular Imaging Society (WMIS), Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Association for Cancer Research, and others)
