WiTS Labor Relations Cases Workflow Reference Guide

Overview:

The LR Cases workflow is used by the Workforce Relations Division (WRD) in the Office of Human Resources (OHR) to document the activities, major events, and history of LR cases (Information Requests, Negotiability, Negotiation, Negotiated Grievances, Representation, and Unfair Labor Practices).

Moving through the workflow: Routing

LR Specialist (Initiates Action) then

LR Team Leader (Optional Review) then

Routing Options:

The routing menu is used to move actions through the process and/or to send emails. The options and email recipients may change based on who has the action in their worklist.

When the action is in the 'Initiation' step:

  • Close Case
  • Sent to LR Team Leader
  • Send to LR Branch Chief
  • Cancel Action

When the action is with the LR Team Leader:

  • Send to LR Specialist
  • Send to LR Branch Chief

Communicating Status and Reminders: Email

Based on established SLA's and/or business rules, email notifications and reminders are automatically sent from WiTS throughout the completion of the workflow.

Subject: 20-Day Reminder of Arbitration Decision Date for LR Case WiTS #12345–
Sent to the HR Specialist when 20 days have passed after the Arbitration Decision Date.

Subject: Follow-up Reminder for LR Case WiTS #12345 –
Sent to the HR Specialist when the date of the Follow-up Date field has arrived.
