Description

This course is intended for new program and project management professionals, CORs and other acquisition officials and can be applied towards earning a FAC-PPM certification or as CLPs for other acquisition officials. The course addresses key leadership skills, including building relationships, solving problems and managing conflict. Concepts and skills honed build upon real-world scenarios. Class discussions, practical activities and group activities are highlighted throughout and the Thomas-Killman Conflict Instrument (TKI) is utilized. Completion of the Introduction to Project Management class is recommended but not mandatory.
