How to Apply
Know which jobs you can apply for
Here, you'll find open positions with detailed information about their “hiring authorities,” which are the specific methods government agencies use to fill those job openings. It sets out the rules and guidelines for how people are hired, who can apply, and who might get priority. Some methods give priority to certain groups like veterans or recent graduates, and some focus on specific skills or needs. Each job listing will tell you which method is used so you know what to expect in the application process, and which you should apply for.
How we evaluate your candidacy for a job
We'll check your application, resume, and supporting documents to see if you have the skills and experiences required for the job. Your resume will be cross-referenced with your application answers. If there's a scoring system for the job, it'll be based on your responses and application details. Be sure your self-ratings are supported by your application.
We verify your qualifications and ratings through reviews, interviews, work samples, and more. References might be contacted to confirm your experience either before or after an offer is made. Providing false information or omitting facts can end consideration of your candidacy.
