Summary
Join one of the 24 Institutes and Centers within the NIH that provides professional Nursing.
Duties
- Serve as the nurse manager for cadre of research nurses providing support to the clinical labs and branches.
- Perform workload assessment and staff assignment to clinical teams and other NIH institutes and collaborations with outside organizations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures, including competencies, for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct staff meeting and communication to include scheduling and partnering with other key stakeholders.
- Supervise a team of research nurses, including mentoring, performance evaluation and training.
