Duties
- Researches and/or analyzes problems, issues, or program requirements, e.g., tracks and analyzes various spending trends.
- This is a Code 4 supervisory position. Although supervising others is not a major duty, it may be performed up to 15% of the time.
- Determines pertinent Issues and communicates with colleagues, agency management, and contacts outside the agency to gather and analyze information and develop recommendations and proposals.
- Coordinates the timely filing of annual and quarterly reports for the laboratory/Branch/Office across the full range of administrative management functions.
- Researches, compiles, and summarizes cost data for use in the formulation of annual budget estimates for the Laboratory/Branch/Office.
- Reviews procurement requests for adequacy of purchase descriptions and justifications, compliance with applicable regulations, and procurement restrictions.
- Assists managers with recruitment, including the referral of job candidates, the selection process, and notification of applicants.
