With this project, you'll support the Office of Data Science Strategy within the Office of Directors on building an AI portfolio.

Duties

This vacancy announcement will be open from September 21, 2026 to September 25, 2026 or when 25 applications have been received. The vacancy will close on whichever day the first of these conditions are met. If the application limit is reached on the same day the announcement opened, the open and close date will be the same. Candidates are encouraged to read the entire announcement before submitting their application packages. Organize and curate ODSS program and portfolio data into analysis-ready structures Design and implement a prototype web-based dashboard Develop and test lightweight LLM-assisted search and summarization features to enable rapid retrieval and synthesis of program information Create concise user and technical documentation describing data sources, dashboard features, and LLM workflows to support future refinement and handoff Collaborate with the supervisor during weekly check-ins to iterate on requirements, review prototypes, and align tools with ODSS portfolio management needs.
