Duties
As a Landscape Architect you will: Function as the NIH Chief Landscape Architect. Provide guidance and consultation on all aspects of landscape design, site development, and landscape maintenance. Develop detailed plans, sketches, and specifications, and review current ground maintenance contract specifications for seasonal maintenance and improvement plans. Perform site analysis, land use and vision planning, master planning, sustainable design, landscape and hardscape design, graphic renderings. Develop innovative visions, concept plans, master plans, regenerative designs, and visualizations that exhibit a strong understanding of environmental and sustainability principles. Maintain and apply comprehensive knowledge of the more common local weeds, insect pests, and diseases affecting trees, shrubs, perennials, and turf. Provide landscape architectural services in coordination with engineers.
