Duties

As a Supervisory Contract Specialist (OALM Deputy Director) , your duties may include: Participates with the Director, OALM, in policy development and guidance, program direction, and the implementation of DHHS policy. Provides policy direction, leadership, and oversight of day-to-day functional activities of OALM. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all functions and services of the Deputy Director's Office Establishes short-term and long-term goals, operational plans, and program direction and priorities for subordinate programs. Responsible for the formulation and implementation of a wide range of policy and procedural materials pertaining to the management of NIH acquisition programs. Participates and makes recommendations to the HCA/Director, OALM, in planning for NIH's annual acquisition program activity. Plans, directs, and oversees all activities of DDO programs and/or branches. This is a Code 4 supervisory position. Although supervising others is not a major duty, it may be performed up to 25% of the time- Remove if not applicable
