Job Posting: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI)

Summary

The Radiology Department is currently seeking an MRI Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to add to their team. The incumbent, as a member of the MRI technical staff, independently performs high quality images on a variety of MRI imaging equipment while applying MRI Safety measures with every patient. The employee will work with department leadership in support of complex clinical and research.

Duties

• Providing advice and assistance in the design and planning of MRI-related research projects as needed.
• Modifying the imaging protocols as appropriate in order to optimize the capabilities of MRI equipment.
• Serving as a liaison between radiologists and technical support staff (scientific and engineering) in facilitating software and hardware upgrades and service.
• Operating scanner software systems as per department guidelines.
• Performing MR imaging within the scope of being able to image anything within the human body.
• Screening and coordinating patients for examinations, including emergency procedures.
