Duties
- Expertly performs and documents physical assessments and patient histories.
- Develops a patient management plan in response to the data obtained.
- Designs, implements, and evaluates nursing research studies that validate standards of practice and delineate nursing care requirements.
- Serves on an Institutional Review Board or other formal research related committees or workgroups which promote excellence in research.
- Serves as a consultant and role model for professional practice, collaboration and communication.
- Participates in clinical practice peer review and develops multidisciplinary quality improvement programs and projects.
