Job Posting: Quality Assurance Specialist (Materials Management)
Summary
The incumbent is responsible for implementing the objectives and standards of the Department's Quality Assurance Program. This includes applying departmental policies and procedures related to standard operating procedures, inspection protocols, document management, workplace safety, infection control, and training validation and verification. The incumbent also reviews SOPs and work instructions and recommends improvements to support continuous enhancement of all Quality Assurance activities.
Duties
Implement the criteria and goals of the Department's Quality Assurance Program. Implement departmental policies for SOP standards, inspection protocols, document management, workplace safety and infection control and training validation and verification. Analyze and evaluate MMESD programs and operations for effectiveness and achievement of organizational goals; analyzes quality data, identify trends, and develop reporting formats and recommendations; and analyzes the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of quality assurance activities and work processes. Monitor MMESD operations to ensure compliance with procedures, specifications, and safety requirements. Participate in the development of departmental safety programs and assists in preparing reports related to safety, quality, technical, and medical performance. Represent MMESD on the Clinical Center Environmental Safety Committee and represents MMESD on the Infection Control Committee.
