Summary

This position is located in the Office of Financial Resource Management (OFRM) at the Clinical Center (CC) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Budget Analyst with responsibility for leading all Clinical Center budget management business processes.

Duties

• Leading all NIH, Clinical Center (CC) budget management business processes.
• Managing the budget formulation, presentation, and execution processes, with analysis, advice, and revision of the budget for all operational and research components.
• Developing consolidated budget review packages for CC executive leadership.
• Developing budget execution contingency plans to allow for variables and avoid adverse financial and programmatic consequences.
• Providing analysis and advice on a range of complex financial matters to program managers and staff including authoritative interpretations of budgetary policy and guidance.
• Preparing a variety of regular and special reports and presentation materials covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations.
• Directing and supervising a staff consisting of Budget Analysts and Management Analysts.
