Job Posting: IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture)

Summary

This position is located in the Information Technology Architecture Office (ITAO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of the Director (OD), National Institutes of Health (NIH). As an Enterprise Architecture, the incumbent will focus on the hardware, software, network, and security infrastructure that enables the technology and information architecture that support the business processes and information needs of the NIH and its Institutes/Centers (ICs).

Duties

• Develop and execute a communication and education plan for the assigned enterprise architecture practice.
• Provide internal management consultation on the enterprise architecture practice.
• Analyze data, information management, operating models, market trends and the enterprise industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprise’s technology strategy, direction and architecture.
• Lead the development of a portfolio of enterprise architecture consulting services, designed to meet organizational and stakeholder needs.
• Manage enterprise architecture implementation, continuous improvement and ongoing refinement activities.
• Participate in developing security strategy, plans, roadmaps, procedures, and standards based on sound enterprise architecture practices.
