Summary

This position supports specialized biomedical information services, including systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis projects; publication, portfolio, and research impact analyses; data management and sharing support; and training on biomedical information resources, analytical tools, and research workflows.

Duties

  • Serves as a Librarian within the Division of Library Services, providing leadership and technicalexpertise in the provision of library and information management services.
  • Applies expertise in data analytics, evidence synthesis, and bibliometric tools to develop data and/orinformation solutions that support life sciences and biomedical research.
  • Provides instruction in the use of library-provided resources, analytical tools, scholarly resources,and/or information resources.
  • Delivers formal and informal presentations to NIH staff to promote awareness and effective use ofLibrary programs and services.
  • Develops policies, programs, services, and products to address library user needs, and leads thecreation of innovative methods for solving complex information challenges.
  • Evaluates, recommends, and maintains electronic resources relevant to the Library’s programs.
