Managing Conflict and Challenging Conversations
This session will provide you with science-based and experientially-tested techniques to deescalate destructive confrontational situations and other misunderstandings at work. Opportunities to effectively manage behavioral triggers are explored, along with the means to help others to appropriately regulate their intensity. These models, concepts, and behaviors can be readily applied both inside and outside of the workplace. You’ll have the opportunity to practice these skills in a highly engaging and supportive atmosphere.

- Build the skills necessary to convert potentially volatile interactions into constructive engagements.
- Examine the role of conflict in team dynamics and opportunities for both leaders and individual contributors to intervene effectively.
