Important Information from the NIH Training Center

The NIH Training Center (NIHTC) is pleased to announce that we are now running several acquisitions, administrative systems, and supervisory training classes to allow NIH staff to meet mandatory requirements to fulfill their job roles. Description

This one-day training covers the proper closeout and disposal procedures specific to Research & Development (R&D) contracts, Cost Reimbursement contracts, Fixed Price contracts, Time & Materials contracts, and GSA Schedule contracts. The course highlights the criteria for determining when quick closeout is preferable and reviews the complete quick closeout process and requirements. Additionally, students will learn the importance of proper administration of Government Furnished Property, including a thorough review of all relevant Federal laws on file maintenance and storage.
