Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) Eligibility

The Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) provides long term care insurance to help pay for costs of care when enrollees need help with everyday tasks because of a chronic illness, injury, disability, or aging, or because of a severe cognitive impairment, such as Alzheimer's disease.

Eligibility for the FLTCIP extends to eligible Federal employees, annuitants, spouses and domestic partners of eligible employees and annuitants, adult children of living eligible employees and annuitants, and parents, parents-in-law, and stepparents of living eligible employees.
